When was the last time that you actually went barefoot to feel the ground? Most people would probably think that the ground is too “dirty" to walk on and avoid it as much as possible. Wearing footwear is a trend nowadays but, if we think back, humans never really wore any footwear before.

Let"s try to dig deeper on this natural way of connecting to our earth.

What Is Grounding?

Grounding, also called earthing, helps us get back to a neutral, balanced state when we make direct contact with the ground. The negative ions from the earth gets absorbed by our bodies neutralize the free radicals that are responsible for the degradation of our body. We acquire free radicals from our modern lifestyle of being exposed to pollutants, processed foods and many more.

When we connect with the earth, we put ourselves back into sync with the healthy energy from the ground.

You can casually take a stroll alongside the beach or enjoy a nap on the lovely grass. If you do some gardening, forget the gloves and use your bare hands to feel the dirt.
